The frozen French fries production and packaging line from SmartMAK™ features a fully automatic system designed to produce high-quality frozen potatoes on an industrial scale.
The process starts with receiving fresh potatoes, washing and peeling them, then cutting them into uniform sticks and washing them again to remove surface starch. After that, the sticks are blanched and then dried with hot air to ensure ideal color and texture before entering the pre-frying unit, where the potatoes are lightly fried under controlled thermal conditions.
After removing excess oil and cooling, the potatoes are quickly frozen in an Individual Quick Freezing (IQF) tunnel to preserve their shape, texture, and flavor. In the final stage, automatic packaging is carried out using a precise weighing and sealing system, producing frozen potatoes ready for sale in various pack sizes.
All components of the line are manufactured from food-grade stainless steel and comply with European CE standards to ensure durability, cleanliness, and operational safety.
