Date molasses production line

The date molasses production line from SmartMAK® enables the production of pure, high-quality date molasses with an adjustable concentration, using either whole dates or date paste as raw material, with the possibility of packaging it into different types of containers upon request.

The line has a capacity of up to 500 kg/hour and operates fully automatically, including a self-cleaning system that ensures thorough washing of all pipes and internal parts using appropriate cleaning materials.

The process begins by transferring the dates or date paste to the sugar extraction unit, where water is automatically added and mixed to extract the highest possible amount of sugars. The product then passes through the pit separation unit before being collected in an intermediate tank.

Filtration is carried out according to the required product purity, using a decanter centrifuge or filter press, and then the clarified juice is transferred to the preparation tank for the concentration stage.

The concentration process is carried out using condensers that operate at low temperatures and pressure to preserve the natural properties of the date molasses. A decolorization system can be added to produce clear date molasses if needed.

Finally, the concentrated molasses is pumped into storage tanks in preparation for the filling stage, which may include:

• Gallon filling machines for plastic containers with capacities ranging from 10–25 kg.

• Small glass or plastic bottle filling lines with capacities between 100 ml – 1 liter.
