Treatment of lipoma

Op. Dr. Bülent Çığşar started his medical education at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1993 and completed it in 1999, receiving the title of medical doctor. He began his specialization in 2000 at Ankara Training and Research Hospital and became a Specialist in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in 2005.

During his residency training, he successfully passed the US medical specialty exam ECFMG and worked for a short period at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, USA. Again, during his residency, he worked at Uppsala University Hospital in Sweden on breast reconstruction with microsurgery after breast cancer.

After completing his specialist training, he served for a short period in the Ministry of Health in the earthquake zone of Kashmir, Pakistan, and later worked in the fields of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Kars State Hospital and at Ataşehir Memorial Hospital of Istanbul Medipol University.

He continues his professional work in his private clinic.
