
Armin TAVANA was born in 1990 in the city of Tabriz, Iran. In 2012, he obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Faculty of Dentistry at Azerbaijan Medical University. He completed a 3-year training program in Therapeutic Dentistry (Endodontics and Restorative Dental Treatment) at Azerbaijan Medical University, and received a Master's degree in the field of Gnathology and Interdisciplinary Dentistry Prosthetic Dental Treatment from the Faculty of Dentistry at Vienna Medical University in Austria and in the field of Restorative Dentistry from Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry in Turkey. He served as chief of the Department of Oral Surgery and Multidisciplinary Dentistry at Azerbaijan Medical University. He has published articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals and has given numerous conferences and courses (Dental Photography, Digital Dentistry and Digital Smile Design, Treatment and Management of Temporomandibular Disorders). He is currently an active member and registered speaker of Vienna Interdisciplinary Dentistry (Viesid), a member of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS), the Turkish Society of Restorative Dentistry (RDD), the Turkish Society of Prosthodontics and Implantology (TPID), and the American Dental Association (ADA).
