I was born in Izmir in 1990. I completed my primary education at Izmir Turkish College and my high school education at Izmir Turkish College Science High School. I graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2013. I completed my residency at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and became a specialist in 2019. I worked as a clinical fellow in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at China Medical University Hospital in Taichung, Taiwan, under the program directorship of Prof. Dr. Hung Chi Chen, who is a leading surgeon in reconstructive microsurgery, from 2019 to 2020. I was an observer at the Supermicrosurgery International Lymphedema Center at the National Center for Global Health and Medicine in Tokyo, Japan, under Prof. Dr. Takumi Yamamoto, and at the International Center for Lymphedema at Hiroshima University Hospital in Hiroshima, Japan, under Prof. Dr. Isao Koshima.
