Specialist Dr. Tolga Gülçiçek was born in Ankara in 1977. He graduated from Ankara Bahçelievler Deneme High School and completed his 5-year program at Gazi University Faculty of Dentistry, which he started in 1995, graduating in 2000. He passed the specialty exam held in the same Faculty and started his specialization training in the Department of Oral, Dental, and Maxillofacial Diseases and Surgery.

In 2002, he received 8 months of rotation training in the Departments of Anesthesiology, ENT, and Plastic Surgery at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine Hospital, and then continued for 6 months in London, England.
In 2005, he served as a visiting lecturer at the University of Michigan Hospital and Mott Children Hospital in the United States, participating in surgeries with Prof. Dr. Joseph I. Helman and Prof. Dr. L. George Upton (who passed away in 2010).

He completed his doctorate in May 2006 and became a specialist in Oral, Dental, and Maxillofacial Diseases and Surgery. From August 2006 to August 2007, he completed his military service as a Reserve Officer Dentist at Ankara Etimesgut Armored Brigades School Training and Division Command. In March 2011, he participated in surgeries as a visiting maxillofacial surgeon at University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG), Netherlands.

In May 2012, he participated, as a visiting maxillofacial surgeon, in orthognathic surgery and bone grafting from the hip (iliac bone) at Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark. In September 2012, he joined Prof. Dr. Berthold H. Hell at Siegen Jung-Stilling Hospital, Germany, in surgeries focused on maxillofacial surgery and hip bone transplants.

In 2013, he participated in surgeries at Poliambulatorio Dalla Rosa Prati Hospital, Parma, Italy, upon invitation from Dr. Andrea Menoni.

Since November 2007, he has been continuing his work at his clinic in Ataşehir, Istanbul in the fields of Implantology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Intraoral Bone Graft Surgeries, Hip Bone (iliac bone) and Bone Graft Transplants, and Aesthetic Dentistry, providing service to his patients.
