Born in 1974, after completing his high school education, he graduated from Uludag University Faculty of Medicine in 1999 and received his Doctor's diploma. He worked with Dr. Mehmet Haberal in the Department of General Surgery at Başkent University. Later, in 2000, he began his residency in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Ankara Training and Research Hospital. At the same time, he completed his training in microsurgery. As a specialist, he worked for 3 years at Düzce Atatürk State Hospital, his first place of duty, in 2005. Afterwards, he completed his military service for 1 year at Balıkesir Military Hospital. In 2010, he was at LA California University Ronald Reagan Hospital, where he worked in Head and Neck, Nose, and Breast Surgery. In 2011, he began working as a Lecturer at Başkent University. In 2012, he received a subspecialty in Oral, Face, and Jaw Surgery. In 2013, he received the title of Assistant Professor. In 2015, he successfully passed the Associate Professorship exam. In 2016, he started working at Istinye University Liv Hospital. In 2023, he started teaching at Istanbul Gelişim University and received the title of Professor. He currently continues his work at these institutions and at drharuns clinic. He is married and the father of two daughters.
