Dr. Baştan completed his education at the Faculty of Dentistry at Istanbul University and became the first physician to earn a master's degree in Oral Implantology at Yeditepe University. He completed this program with a thesis titled “Postoperative CT Evaluation of Implant Treatments Supported by Preoperative Panoramic Radiographs.” Since then, he has been extensively working in the fields of dental implant surgery and implant-supported prostheses. Subsequently, he completed a mastership program in Laser Applications in Dentistry, carried out in partnership with RWTH Aachen University and Bezmialem University. This program includes a detailed curriculum on laser physics, safety, and usage, covering not only the clinical indications and applications of laser wavelengths used in dentistry but also their theoretical and biophysical backgrounds. Following this program, Dr. Baştan successfully completed a doctoral program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Ondokuz Mayıs University and obtained the title of Oral, Dental, and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He conducted his doctoral thesis on “Evaluation of Stress Distribution in Dental Implant Applications with Different Numbers and Designs for Single Tooth Replacement Under Functional and Parafunctional Forces by Finite Element Analysis Method.”
