
He graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Dentistry in 1996. He completed the doctorate program in Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2002. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2006 and Professor in 2011.
He is a member of the Turkish Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the European Association for Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery, and the International Association for Dental Research.
He has over 22 years of clinical experience.
In 1997, he completed the training program on "A Comprehensive Surgical Training Program Featuring Sulzer Calcitek's Spline Dental Implant System" organized by Sulzer Medica Sulzer Calcitek Inc. He has been performing implant applications since 1997.
He is the head of the team that prepared the Turkish version of the “Diagnostic Criteria for Temporomandibular Disorders (2014)” prepared by the “International Network for Orofacial Pain and Related Disorders Methodology (INfORM)”. In April 2015, in Malmö, Sweden, he successfully completed the application and calibration course of this method, which is used in the diagnosis of patients with jaw joint problems.
