
Professor Dr. Ersin ÜLKÜR was born on April 15, 1969. He completed his primary education in Ankara, secondary education in Samsun, and his high school education at Istanbul Kuleli Military High School, and in 1993, he received his medical doctor diploma from GATA Faculty of Medicine.
After working as a general practitioner for 2 years in Ardahan, between 1996-2001 he specialized at the Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic and Burn Unit at Istanbul GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital. During his specialization, in September 1998 and September 1999, he worked as a research assistant at Mount Vernon Hospital in London, and in July 2000, at Canniesburn Hospital in Glasgow. From 2001 to 2003, he worked as the chief of the Plastic Surgery Clinic at Çorlu Military Hospital. In 2003, he became eligible to start work as an Assistant Professor at Istanbul GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital. In 2005-2006, he conducted studies and research on aesthetic surgery, craniofacial surgery, maxillofacial surgery, and general plastic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh’s Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Clinic in the United States and at the "Zeeba Ambulatory Surgery Center," the clinic of Dr. Bahman GUYURON, in Cleveland.
He passed the associate professorship exam in November 2006 and received the title of University Associate Professor. In August 2012, he received the title of University Professor and worked as the clinic chief at the Istanbul GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital Aesthetics, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic and Burn Unit. He continues his private practice at E Clinic on Bağdat Avenue, Caddebostan, Istanbul. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and aesthetic surgery societies. He has over 300 domestic and international articles and papers.
