He was born in 1975 in the Zile district of Tokat. After completing his primary and secondary education in Tokat, he started his university education at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1993. After completing his medical education in 1999, he began his training in Plastic Surgery at Ankara S.B. Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital. After his specialization training, he completed his compulsory service at Çorum State Hospital between 2006-2008. He began his academic career as an assistant professor at Fatih University, Faculty of Medicine in 2008. Until 2013, he served as the Head of the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the same hospital.
