I was born in Istanbul in 1981. I completed my primary and secondary education in Istanbul and graduated from Saint Joseph Catholic High School in the USA in 2000. After graduating from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 2006, I worked as an observer assistant in the breast and endocrine surgery department at Haukeland Hospital, University of Bergen, Norway. I completed my compulsory service at Van Yuksek Ihtisas Hospital between 2006-2008 and started my specialty training at Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. I received my specialty degree in 2014 and fulfilled my compulsory service as a specialist physician at Gumushane State Hospital. Afterwards, I worked at Istanbul Kanuni Sultan Suleyman Training and Research Hospital and at Dr. Berker Buyukgural Clinic. During this time, I completed my fellowship training with Dr. Giovanni Botti in Italy and Dr. Carlos Pino Roxo in Brazil.
