Orwood Company announces the availability of a vacant position titled:
Procurement Manager
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Establishing a procurement strategy in line with the company's objectives
- Full supervision from purchase request to the closing of the purchase order.
- Approving purchase requests and ensuring their compliance with internal policies.
- Reviewing technical and financial offers
- Negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms.
- Approving suppliers and periodically evaluating their performance
- Coordinating with the finance and warehouse departments.
- Ensuring materials are available in a timely manner.
- Resolving issues related to delays or quality
- Ensuring materials comply with approved specifications.
- Coordinating to perform inspection activities (at the factory / on site).
- Following up on inspection and receiving processes
Required Qualifications
- University degree in logistics or a related field
- At least 7 years of experience in the same field
- Proficiency in using Office programs
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems
- Excellent command of English and Turkish
- Preference will be given to holders of Turkish nationality
Benefits:
Monthly salary (determined based on qualifications and experience)
Work from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a one-hour break and a meal included
