Dr. Soysal Baş completed his primary, middle, and high school education in the districts of Gazipaşa and Alanya in Antalya. He graduated from Abant Izzet Baysal University, Düzce Faculty of Medicine, in 2007. Between 2007 and 2010, he worked as a research assistant at Ankara Abdurrahman Yurtaslan Oncology Training and Research Hospital Anesthesiology and Reanimation Clinic, Ege University Faculty of Medicine Plastic Surgery, and Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine Department of Anatomy. During this period, he had the opportunity to study on cadavers and improved his knowledge of anatomy, which is very important for surgery. In 2010, he started his residency in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Izmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital and became a specialist in 2015. He performed his compulsory service at Şanlıurfa Mehmet Akif İnan Training and Research Hospital. During his compulsory service, in addition to aesthetic surgeries, he performed many successful operations according to the needs of patients in the region, such as congenital hand anomaly, hand surgery, cleft lip and palate, burns, maxillofacial trauma, and microsurgery. In 2018, he was appointed to Şişli Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital. For about six years, he performed many aesthetic and reconstructive operations and contributed to the training of many assistant physicians. In 2021, as a result of the exam organized by the Ministry of Health, he was successfully appointed as Chief Assistant. He has also continued his role as Clinical Administrative Officer since 2021. In April 2023, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor. After serving as the Clinical Education Officer for a while, he left his hospital in September 2023 to continue his medical career in his own practice. He has many articles published in national and international journals, and many papers presented at national and international symposiums. He is currently serving as a reviewer in national and international journals. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association, Reconstructive Microsurgery Association, and International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Soysal Baş is married and his foreign language is English.
