Job Description
The Medical Tourism Operations Manager is responsible for leading and developing the sales of medical tourism services and acts as the primary link between patients coming from outside Turkey and accredited medical institutions (hospitals, clinics, and doctors). They supervise the patient's entire treatment experience, from the first communication to the completion of treatment and subsequent follow-up, ensuring the highest standards of medical and service quality are met.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Managing and developing sales strategies and medical tourism operations to achieve approved sales goals.
Building strong relationships through the sales department with international patients and providing initial consultations appropriate to their medical needs.
Direct coordination with hospitals, clinics, doctors, and medical service providers to ensure the best treatment solutions are offered.
Supervising the organization of the entire treatment journey, including:
Medical arrangements
Travel and accommodation bookings
Reception, accompaniment, and translation services
Following up with patients during the treatment period to ensure their satisfaction and safety.
Managing the post-treatment phase, medical follow-up, and customer service.
Developing partnerships with medical institutions, tourism companies, and hotels.
Preparing periodic reports on sales performance, patient satisfaction, and opportunities for service development.
Ensuring compliance with health regulations and approved ethical standards in medical tourism.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Previous experience in managing medical tourism operations and sales, or in the healthcare or tourism sector, of at least 3 years.
High skills in communication, negotiation, and relationship building.
The ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple parties at the same time.
Proficiency in foreign languages (Arabic and English are a basic requirement; Turkish and French are an added advantage).
Good understanding of the needs of international patients and different cultures.
The ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets.
