Live translator from English to Arabic

Job Description

Nabd TV is looking for a professional live interpreter (English-Arabic Live Interpreter) with experience in direct translation from English to Arabic to join the media team. The candidate will be responsible for interpreting interviews, statements, news coverage, and live programs with accuracy and professionalism, while maintaining meaning, context, and speed during live broadcasts.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Regularly follow up on economic, political, and global news and developments

• Provide simultaneous live interpretation from English to Arabic during programs and live broadcasts

• Translate interviews, statements, press conferences, and news reports

• Accurately relay content while preserving the original meaning, context, and message of the speaker

• Coordinate with preparation and production teams to ensure content is ready before broadcast

• Participate in special coverages and live events that require simultaneous interpretation

• Continuously review economic, financial, and media terminologies used

• Commit to the highest standards of accuracy, speed, and professionalism during work

Requirements:

• Full proficiency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written

• Previous experience in simultaneous or media translation

• High ability to listen and quickly interpret under live broadcast pressure

• Good knowledge of economic, financial, and media terminology

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team

• Ability to work under pressure and keep up with fast-paced events and news

• Excellent command of Modern Standard Arabic

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in TV channels or media institutions

• Experience in translating economic, political, or news programs

• Experience in live translation for interviews, seminars, and conferences

• Knowledge of the basics of financial markets and global economy
