Op. Dr. Ümit BORATAÇ was born in 1964 in Lefkoşa, Cyprus. After completing his pre-university education in Cyprus, he successfully graduated from Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine and received the title of medical doctor. He completed his specialization at Istanbul Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital, becoming a specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Additionally, for 2 years, he specialized in Maxillofacial and Sex Reassignment Surgeries at Queen Mary University Hospital and London Charing Cross Hospital in London.
