Laparoscopic abdominal surgery for the treatment of obesity

He was born in 1964 in Beyazıt, Istanbul. He graduated from Istanbul Erkek High School in 1982. He received his medical education at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine between 1982 and 1988. He completed his general surgery residency between 1989 and 1994 at the S. B. Istanbul Training and Research Hospital under Op. Dr. A. Kaygusuz.

Between 1994 and 1998, he worked as a general surgery specialist at the S. B. Bursa Orhangazi State Hospital and S. B. Istanbul Training and Research Hospital.

In November-December 1996, he received hand surgery training at the University of Zurich, Zurich Faculty of Medicine, under Prof. Dr. V. Meyer, and from January-April 1998, at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Department of Hand Surgery, under Prof. Dr. Türker Özkan.
