In 2008, I achieved my dream of entering the Faculty of Dentistry and after graduating in 2013, I started practicing my profession for 2 years in a private oral and dental health clinic. Driven by my keen interest in aesthetic smile design and jaw joint problems, I began my doctorate in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry, Division of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry. During this period, I opened my own clinic and continued my profession in the private sector. I completed my doctorate, which can typically take 4 to 6 years, with high achievement in just 3.5 years. My doctoral thesis focused on the rising star of our era: digital dentistry systems, and I conducted various assessments related to a range of digital techniques and systems. Throughout and after my doctoral education, I attended overseas congresses and training courses. By earning the right to lead a TÜBİTAK project, I initiated (now in patent preparation) studies in the field of maxillofacial prosthetics and I continue my work in this field.
I have worked and am still working as a prosthetic dental treatment specialist at the Ataşehir branch of a corporate clinic for 4 years. During this period, I have concentrated intensely on aesthetic smile design, laminate and lumineer applications, treatment of jaw joint disorders, implant-supported prosthetics, and the all-on-four concept.
