Information Systems and Networks Manager (IT Manager)

Job Summary

Leading the IT team and managing the technical infrastructure of the organization, ensuring system continuity and information security to support the implementation of humanitarian programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

1.     Operation and management of the organization’s technical infrastructure (servers, networks, devices) to ensure uninterrupted and efficient operations.

2.     Administration and maintenance of enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, email, cloud systems) and ensuring their integration and stability.

3.     Implementation of information security policies and data protection, and following up on backup and restoration procedures.

4.     Continuous monitoring of system performance, addressing technical failures, and ensuring minimal downtime.

5.     Managing user accounts and access permissions while ensuring secure system usage.

6.     Providing technical support to employees and effectively resolving daily technical issues.

7.     Conducting regular updates of systems and software to ensure safety and efficiency.

8.     Documenting systems and technical procedures and preparing internal user manuals.

9.     Coordinating with technical service providers (Hosting, Domains, Software Providers) and tracking service quality.

10.  Applying data protection standards and compliance with Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).

11.  Analyzing the needs of different departments and providing technical solutions that support operational processes.

12.  Preparing periodic reports on system performance, technical risks, and opportunities for improvement.

13.  Improving technical infrastructure and simplifying digital procedures to raise institutional work efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Experience

◆    Education and Experience

•        Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Network Engineering.

•        At least 5 years of experience including management of networks, servers, and information security.

•        Experience in international or humanitarian organizations (an asset).

◆    Skills and Abilities

•        Good knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and infrastructure.

•        High leadership and analytical skills, ability to solve problems.

•        Experience in information security and infrastructure.

•        Ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.

•        Technical certificates (CCNA/CompTIA/Microsoft) are an advantage.

◆    Required Languages

•        Arabic: essential.

•        English: good (for technical documentation).

•        Turkish: strong advantage.

✓  System uptime rate according to an agreed standard.

✓  Response time to technical incidents.

✓  Compliance rate with information security policies.
