Op. Dr. M. Türker ÖZYİĞİT was born in Kocaeli in 1974. He completed his pre-university education at Istanbul ISTEK Private Kaşgarlı Mahmut High School in 1992. In 1993, he was admitted to Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine and started his medical education. Between 1995-1996, he participated in an experimental study at the Department of Genetics, traveled to Spain in 1996 to complete a general surgery internship at Hospital General "Gregorio Marańon", and graduated in 2000, earning the title of Doctor of Medicine. After working as a general practitioner in various private clinics for a year, he started his residency in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Istanbul Vakıf Gureba Training and Research Hospital in 2001. In 2007, he became a Specialist in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
