Dr. Cem Zeybek, who was born in 1964 in İzmir, completed his education at Saint Joseph Middle School and İzmir Atatürk High School, and graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1989. In the same year, he passed the specialty entrance exam in France, started his residency in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, and received his specialization in 1995 from the Clinic of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Toulouse Paul Sabatier University Faculty of Medicine. He was a student of Prof. Dr. Michel COSTAGLIOLA and Prof. Dr. Jean-Pierre CHAVOIN. That same year, Dr. Zeybek also successfully passed the French Plastic Surgeons Association (Collège Français de Chirurgie Plastique, Reconstructrice et Esthétique) exam. He worked at the regional hospital in Auxerre, France, and after completing his military service, he worked for a while at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and as a private practitioner in Turkey. He later returned to France and worked at Nancy University Hospital. In 2010, he completed a 'fellowship' with Prof. Dr. Onur Erol at ONEP.
