Dental crowding

After returning to Turkey, as I wanted to continue my academic life, I took part in the Dentistry Specialization Examination (DUS) organized by the Council of Higher Education and ranked 16th in Turkey. After personally visiting and inspecting several faculties, I was attracted by the academic staff of Selçuk Orthodontics and chose it as my first preference. The subject of my specialization thesis was an important study with three main stages, including clinical experiments, microtomography examinations, and 3D modeling analysis, aiming to compare the effects of different forces used in orthodontics on root resorption (dissolution). Although it was a challenging process, in terms of its results, I believe it contributed to my profession by ensuring that the forces applied in orthodontics do not damage the tooth roots.
