Alptekin Altun was born in 1984 in Dursunbey / Balıkesir. He received his primary education in Dursunbey and completed his high school education at Balıkesir Sırrı Yırcalı Anatolian High School. He began his university education at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry and successfully completed his 5-year education. The year he graduated (2009), he was entitled to pursue a doctorate at Marmara University in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. At the beginning of his doctorate studies (2011), together with his friends, he founded the Uzman Akademi Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic in Bahçelievler. While continuing his doctorate education, he also successfully completed Anadolu University Open Education Faculty of Business Administration and graduated from his second university.

In 2013, he and the same team founded the second branch of Uzman Akademi Oral and Dental Polyclinic in Yenibosna/ Bahçelievler. In 2014, he established the Dental Clinic within Istanbul Şafak Hospital. In late 2014, with the inclusion of his father Mehmet Altun as a manager in clinical operations, they became a dental group with an expanded vision and mission. In 2015, he became a scientific consultant for W&H Dental Devices Company and organized training courses. In 2016, the Bakırköy branch of Uzman Akademi Oral and Dental Health Group was opened. Again in 2016, he became the scientific consultant and the director of education for NDI Medical Implant Systems.
