He is a graduate of Istanbul Hüseyin Avni Sözen Anatolian High School. He completed his undergraduate studies in 1999 at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry (Çapa). During his education, he completed an internship at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg through a student exchange program and graduated with honors in 2004.
