Prof. Dr. Atay Atabey graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty in 1983. In 1990, he became a Specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine. He later conducted post-doctoral studies twice at Johns Hopkins University in the United States. There, he performed aesthetic facial surgeries, head and neck surgeries, and experimental flap surgeries. Currently, he provides services to his patients at his private clinic, Estetia. He has 30 years of professional experience. He performs his operations at Tinaztepe Health Group hospitals.
