Bad breath

Born in 1980 in Trabzon, Dr. Derya Erbil Emes completed her high school education at Private Antalya Science High School and spent 1997-1998 in Germany as an exchange student within the AFS Intercultural Exchange Program. She successfully completed her dental education, which she started at Hacettepe University in 1998, in 2003, and began her doctoral studies at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology in 2004. She successfully presented her doctoral thesis titled “Effects of Platelet-Rich Plasma Use on Wound Healing Quality of Recipient and Donor Sites in Free Gingival Graft Applications” and was awarded the title of Dr. Med Dent in 2011. Emes, who speaks English and German fluently, is a member of the European Academy of Periodontology.
