He was born in Bandırma in 1971. In 1988, he graduated first from Savaştepe Teacher High School and started medical school at Sivas Cumhuriyet University. In his second year, he transferred to Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, graduating third in 1994. After working as a general practitioner for two years at Ağrı-Diyadin State Hospital, he began serving as a medical lieutenant in the Air Force Command. In 1999, he started his plastic surgery residency at Istanbul Gata Haydarpaşa Training Hospital. After his residency, he worked for seven years at the Etimesgut Military Hospital Plastic Surgery Clinic, then returned to the hospital where he trained as an assistant professor in 2011. He became an associate professor in 2016. He has participated in many national and international congresses, giving oral and poster presentations. He has 26 international articles published in prestigious journals, with a total of 213 citations (h-index is 8, i10-index is 8). Alongside aesthetic surgery, he has experience in hand surgery, maxillofacial surgery, cleft lip and palate, burns, breast reconstruction, chronic wound healing, and hair-beard transplantation. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Plastic Surgery and the Turkish Medical Association. Between 2016 and 2019, he worked at Istanbul Reyap Esenyurt Hospital. He operated a private practice in Alanya for about two years. Since August 2021, he has been running a private clinic in Antalya. He is married and has two children.
