Gökay Üstdal graduated from Ege University Faculty of Dentistry with a "Master's" degree in 2013. In the Dental Specialization Examination he took in 2014, he ranked 59th in Turkey and became eligible to receive specialization training in the field of Orthodontics. During his specialization training, in 2016, he conducted observations in "Orthodontics" and "Maxillofacial Surgery" at London's St. Georges Hospital, University of London. In 2018, he conducted his thesis study with Micro Computed Tomography at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Dentistry, Erciyes University. In 2019, he successfully presented his thesis at Mustafa Kemal University and was certified as an Orthodontics specialist by the Ministry of Health in the same year.

Specialist Dr. Gökay Üstdal has advanced proficiency in English. He has made many presentations at national and international congresses. He is the author of numerous articles and book chapters. He is a member of the European Orthodontic Society (EOS) and the Turkish Orthodontic Society (TOD). He receives patients at his own clinic in Adana.
