Dr. Cem Çerkez, who was born in Cyprus, completed his primary and secondary education before going to Ankara for medical studies. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. Dr. Çerkez, whose interest in aesthetic surgery began during his student years, had the opportunity to observe numerous plastic surgery operations at that time. He entered the field of plastic surgery, which he had dreamed of, in 2006, starting his residency at the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. Throughout his residency, he participated in many scientific studies. By successfully passing the specialization exam in 2012, he became a specialist in plastic surgery.
