He was born in Istanbul in 1986. He completed his primary education at Nişantaşı Işık High School and his secondary and high school education at Istanbul Erkek High School. In 2010, he graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry and started his Doctorate education in the Department of Orthodontics at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in the same year. In 2017, he submitted his doctoral thesis comparing the use of mini-implant supported distalization appliances and conventional distalization appliances used in orthodontic treatments and received the title of Orthodontic Specialist Doctor. He is an active member of the Turkish Orthodontic Society, European Orthodontic Society, American Orthodontic Society, and World Orthodontic Society. He has attended numerous courses and seminars during and after his doctoral education. Apart from the R&S Orthodontics Göktürk Clinic, he also serves as an Orthodontic Specialist/Dentist at Eyüp and Halkalı Okutan Dental Clinics. In addition to orthodontic treatments, he also works on implant and advanced surgical applications and smile design in dentistry. He is married and has two children.
