He was born in Sivas in 1968. He graduated from Hacettepe University (Eng) Faculty of Medicine in 1993. Between 1993–2000, he received his Specialty Training in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital, Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic. In 2001, as an Assistant Professor, he established the Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Abant İzzet Baysal University Düzce Faculty of Medicine and trained plastic surgery specialists over 12 years. In 2005, he became an Associate Professor, and in 2010 a Professor. He worked at Sakarya University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery between 2014–2018. Since 2019, he has been working in his own clinic in İstanbul Nişantaşı.
