Nur Şahin completed her high school education at Izmir Konak Anatolian High School and graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Dentistry, which she entered in 2006, in 2011. In the spring term of 2013, she passed the dentistry specialization exam (DUS), started her specialist training at the Department of Pedodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, Izmir Katip Çelebi University, and completed her specialist training with her thesis study titled 'In-vivo evaluation of the efficacy of different capping agents in the pulp capping of primary teeth with deep caries'. She continues to work as an independent pedodontics specialist. She is married and has one child.
