She was born in Eskişehir in 1980. After six years of education at Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine, she graduated in 2004. In 2005, Gamze Bektaş worked as an assistant for 6 months at the Pediatric Surgery Clinic of İzmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital, and she completed her specialty training at the Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery between November 2005 and January 2012.
