Prof. Dr. Mithat AKAN was born in 1970 in Çankırı. After completing his pre-university education, he graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and earned the title of medical doctor. He completed his specialty training at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital, Clinic of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and became a specialist in Plastic Surgery. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2005 and Professor in 2013.
