Job Title:
Strategy and Content Writing Officer – Social Media Department (Lucille)

Work Location:
Istanbul – working with a professional creative team within the Lucille brand for cosmetics and perfumes.

Job Summary:
Responsible for building and developing the digital content strategy for the Lucille brand, writing and creating all types of content in line with the brand identity, in addition to managing models and content creators, measuring and continuously optimizing performance to achieve marketing and outreach goals.

Main roles and responsibilities:

  1. Strategy and Development

    • Determine the marketing objectives for content (Awareness / Engagement / Conversion).

    • Identify and segment the target audience (Personas & Segments).

    • Outline the brand's key pillars and main content (Content Pillars).

    • Set general guidelines for visual and linguistic identity in coordination with the creative management.

    • Study competitors and analyze market trends in the beauty, skincare, and perfume fields.

  2. Planning and Publishing

    • Create a weekly and monthly editorial calendar for posts, reels, and stories.

    • Coordinate publication timing between different platforms (Instagram, TikTok, …).

    • Organize special campaigns for offers, seasons, and holidays in collaboration with the marketing team.

    • Follow up on the implementation of the content plan and ensure deadlines are met.

  3. Copywriting

    • Write and draft the complete content for posts (Hook / Body / CTA).

    • Ensure the tone and style match Lucille's identity (young, emotional, elegant, close to the audience).

    • Optimize headlines, product descriptions, and brand and campaign intro texts.

    • Write scripts for short videos (Reels/TikTok) and explanatory texts for paid ads.

  4. Managing Turkish Models and Content Creators

    • Select suitable models and creators for each type of content and campaign.

    • Write the brief clearly and professionally (idea, mood, objective, key points to mention).

    • Follow up on shooting and delivery, and ensure that the results align with Lucille’s identity.

    • Activate the "Collab" feature with appropriate accounts and coordinate usage rights and duration.

    • Coordinate with the media team regarding final materials (images, videos, raw materials).

  5. Selecting Photos and Visual Appearance

    • Prepare moodboards and styleframes for each campaign or photoshoot.

    • Propose appropriate visual ideas for each product (Serums, Perfumes, Diffusers…).

    • Collaborate with the designer/editor to ensure font, colors, and details are consistent with the overall identity.

  6. Performance Measurement and Monthly Analysis

    • Read and analyze Instagram Insights and other platform data.

    • Prepare concise monthly reports on: best content – weakest content – improvement recommendations.

    • Suggest adjustments to the editorial plan based on results (publishing times, type of content, angle of presentation).

    • Follow up with the paid ads team to ensure message consistency between organic and paid content.

  7. Coordination and Teamwork

    • Work daily with the design, photography, marketing, and sales teams to ensure message harmony.

    • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for major campaigns (product launches, events, exhibitions).

    • Communicate audience feedback and frequent questions to the team to improve content and products.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous experience in social media content writing and content strategy (preferably in the beauty or personal care field).

  • Strong writing skills in Arabic, with good to excellent proficiency in English (spoken and written).

  • High ability to work under pressure, commit to deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Creative personality with a visual vision and innovative, feasible content.

  • Good understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms (especially Instagram / TikTok).

  • Ability to deal with models and content creators professionally and build long-term working relationships.

  • Work in a team spirit within a fast-paced, professional, and creatively rich work environment.
