Dr. Handan Tuğçe Oğuz completed her primary, middle, and high school education at Ankara Yükseliş College. She graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Dentistry in 2001. In the same year, she started her Ph.D. education in Orthodontics at Gazi University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics.
In 2005, with a Prime Ministry National Agency scholarship, she continued a part of her doctoral studies in Germany under the Leonardo da Vinci Denta Program. During her time in Germany, she was a visiting doctoral student at the Departments of Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Leipzig, Berlin Charité University, and Halle Martin Luther University, as well as at the Leipzig Robert Koch Sleep Medicine Center. She received specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment methods of all orthodontic disorders, Sleep Medicine, and intraoral device treatment of Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea. She prepared her doctoral thesis on the intraoral device treatment of patients with Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
She completed her doctoral education in 2007, earning the titles of Doctor of Orthodontics and Orthodontic Specialist. In 2011, she established her own orthodontic clinic, where she continues her profession. She also teaches at various private dental faculties and maintains her academic career. She has several publications in national and international journals, book chapters published in international books, written and oral presentations at various national and international congresses, and a TÜBİTAK project. She is highly proficient in English and has intermediate knowledge of German.
In her clinic, Dr. Handan Tuğçe Oğuz provides all necessary orthodontic treatments for patients of all age groups. In addition to orthodontic treatments, she also performs intraoral device treatments for patients with Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
