Halit Başaran, who was born in Ankara, graduated in 2005 from the Faculty of Dentistry at Ankara University, one of the oldest state universities in Turkey.

After graduating, he worked as a general practitioner at Lokman Hekim University Ankara Hospital. After three years, he started working at Istanbul Okmeydanı Oral and Dental Health Hospital. After working as deputy chief physician at the same hospital, he moved to Sarıyer Oral and Dental Hospital.
