Emre Hocaoğlu was born in 1977 in Istanbul. He graduated from Private Doğuş Anatolian High School in 1995, and from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine, English Medicine Department in 2001. Between 2001 and 2007, he completed his medical specialty training at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. He worked as a Specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Çorlu Military Hospital between 2007-2008, and at Karabük State Hospital between 2008-2010.
