Dr. Sevgi Kurt Yazar completed her medical education at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, then ranked in the Medical Specialty Exam (TUS) and began her residency in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the same faculty. She earned the title of Plastic Surgery Specialist in 2012. After becoming a specialist, she completed her mandatory service and continued working at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital. During her education, she had the opportunity to work with renowned microsurgery doctors in Taiwan. She also conducted studies in Belgium on breast reconstruction, her main area of interest, after breast cancer. In 2019, she was awarded the title of Associate Professor.
