Dr. Murat Emiroğlu was born on June 15, 1961, in Ankara. He completed his primary education in 1972 at Ankara Ahmet Vefik Paşa Primary School, and his secondary and high school education in 1979 at Ankara Anatolian High School. In the same year, he entered Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. While continuing his medical education, he completed part of his General Surgery Internship Program at Ferrara University Faculty of Medicine in Italy, in the Department of Surgery headed by Prof. Dr. Ippolito Donnini. He graduated in 1985. In accordance with the "Compulsory Service Law," he worked for one year at Ağrı State Hospital, where he was assigned.
