Dr. Dt. Gülşah Ünal Kundakçıoğlu, born in Istanbul in 1988, completed her high school education at Istanbul Kabataş Boys’ Anatolian High School and her university education at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry. 

The year she graduated, she was accepted for a doctoral degree at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology and received training in the field of Periodontology (Gum Diseases) between 2011 and 2013. In 2013, she began her Orthodontics Doctorate training at Bezmialem Vakıf University Faculty of Dentistry, and in 2017, she presented her thesis titled ‘Evaluation of the Antibacterial Effects of Different Lasers Under Orthodontic Appliances’, thus completing her doctorate and earning the title of ‘Doctor of Science’.
