Op. Dr. Metin Temel graduated from Inonu University Faculty of Medicine. Afterwards, he completed his specialty training at Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine.
Between 2002 and 2006, he worked as a general practitioner at Kahramanmaraş Karamağara Health Center and Kahramanmaraş Province Elbistan District 112 Emergency and First Aid Station. He also served at the 2nd Tank Battalion 30-bed Mobile Surgical Hospital in Midyat District, Mardin Province.
Later, he worked as a Research Assistant Doctor at the Department of Plastic Surgery at Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine Hospital.
He served as a Specialist Doctor at the Ministry of Health-Hitit University Çorum Training and Research Hospital Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic and as an Assistant Professor Doctor at the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Mustafa Kemal University Tayfur Ata Sökmen Faculty of Medicine.
