Op. Dr. Ali Gökçen Akdal graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1981. In 1991, he completed his specialization at Ankara Numune Hospital 1st Plastic Surgery Clinic, becoming a Specialist in Aesthetic, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery.
Between 1991 and 2007, he worked as a Plastic Surgery Specialist at Alsancak State Hospital. During the same period, Dr. Akdal also worked part-time in his private practice and, after that, continued to serve full time in his Alsancak office. In 2007, he founded the Alsancak Beauty Center together with Dermatology Specialist Dr. Sevda Orhon. After the closure of beauty centers, the same team continued their work as the Private Alsancak Polyclinic. As of February 2014, he opened his practice in Urla and continues his work there.
