Funda Çar was born in Nişantaşı, Istanbul. She graduated from the Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1992. Between 1993-1995, she worked with Dr. Selim Pamuk, and in 1995-1996 she worked at a private clinic in New York for educational purposes. Between 1997-2000, she worked at various clinics in Istanbul. Since 2001, she has continued her professional career at the "Nişantaşı Eko Dental Clinic," which she established in her birthplace, Nişantaşı.
