Getting rid of tooth decay in children

Dr. Dt Hazal Ezgi Erken was born in 1990 in İzmir. After completing her high school education at İzmir Karşıyaka Anatolian High School, she was admitted to Ege University Faculty of Dentistry in 2008. She successfully completed her doctoral education, which she started in 2014 at Ege University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Pedodontics, in 2019. During and after her doctoral studies, she attended numerous seminars and congresses both domestically and abroad, giving oral and written presentations. She received the "First Prize for Oral Presentation" at the 26th International Scientific Congress of the İzmir Dental Association. Since 2014, she has been actively treating pediatric patients in the private sector. Her areas of expertise include many treatments such as fillings and root canal therapy in primary and permanent teeth, dental treatment under general anesthesia, removal of dental discoloration, and preventive dentistry.
