Prof. Dr. Oğuz Çetinkale graduated from Kabataş Male High School in 1975 and completed his master’s degree at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1981. Between 1981-1986, he received his specialization training at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. In 1986–1987, he was at St. James’s University Hospital in the United Kingdom. In 1989–1990, he completed his military service at GATA, Ankara, in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He became a Hand Surgery Specialist in 2011 and an Oral, Jaw and Facial Surgery Specialist in 2013. In the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, he was appointed as an associate professor in 1993 and as a professor in 1999.
