Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dağhan Işık graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine in 1999. He completed his residency in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery, which he started in 2000, at Gaziantep University in 2005. He performed his mandatory service in Gaziantep between 2005-2007.
In 2008, he conducted studies at Ohio State University Plastic Surgery Clinic in America. At Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Faculty of Medicine, he started as a faculty member in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery between 2008-2013, and from 2011 onwards, he served as the head of the department. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2012.
He worked at İzmir Katip Çelebi University Faculty of Medicine between 2013-2016.
