She was born in 1979 in Diyarbakır as the middle child and only daughter of a family with three children. After completing her primary, secondary, and high school education in Ankara, she entered Gazi University Mathematics Teaching department in 1996. In 1997, after taking the student selection and placement exam again, she was accepted to Fırat University Faculty of Medicine. She graduated from this university in 2004. She served in eastern duty assignments in Tunceli, Elazığ, and Van. In 2007, she moved to Istanbul and worked in primary healthcare services in institutions affiliated to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey. In 2015, she received the occupational physician authority certificate from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Republic of Turkey.
