I was born on September 21, 1958, in Izmit. In 1968 I graduated from Beşiktaş Barbaros Hayrettin Primary School, and in 1974 I graduated from Işık High School. I graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1981.

In November 1983, I started my specialty training in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. I completed my specialty in 1990. I am a member of the Turkish Society of Plastic Surgery and the Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. I have attended many congresses at home and abroad. I have more than 20 scientific publications in my field in the Istanbul University Journal and various congresses. I am married and the father of two children.
